Apple’s long-awaited iOS 13 operating system has been released to the public. iOS 13 for cell phones was released on September 19th and it was followed – in less than a week – by iOS 13.1! The redesigned iPadOS 13.1 operating system for Apple’s iPad product line was also made available on September 25th.
New in iOS 13.1 is a “dark mode” display theme, better performance and longer battery life. The new iPadOS 13.1 includes a desktop-class version of the Safari browser that supports WordPress, Google Docs and other types of sites. We will be testing iPadOS’s new MOUSE SUPPORT in the coming weeks.
The update is now available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users. You’ll need to open the Settings app on your iOS device and go to General > Software Update to download and install the update. It’s a good idea to back up your device and make sure it has enough free space before you install the update.
